Credibility? What credibility?

The Obama/Kerry team believes that "the masses are asses," and they act on that convenient understanding again and again.

Its latest use comes in the attempt to sell the Iran deal to Congress.  As NPR tells us, Kerry is planning to get away with the following argument to convince the congress to vote "yes": "U.S. Will Lose 'All Credibility' If Congress Rejects Nuclear Deal, Kerry Says."

Huh?  The present administration hasn’t destroyed all of U.S. credibility?  There is any left?

Does the U.S. still have credibility after threatening to bomb Syria if Assad used chemical weapons, and then reneging on that threat when he did?

Does the U.S. still have credibility after promising our Middle East allies to test the Iranian mullahs’ rationality by offering a simple choice: dismantle you nuclear program peacefully, and rejoin the community of nations, or your nuclear project will be dismantled militarily, so you won't have it, yet the sanctions will stay in place – and then giving Iranians a wink and a nod to signal that the military option was off the table?

To sell our Mideast allies to Iran long, Obama/Kerry need to first sell U.S. credibility to the Congress short.  The senators and congressmen, be they Republicans or Democrats, should have none of it.

Obama and Kerry have no credibility.  End of debate.  Vote accordingly.
